Estas navidades me habéis elegido para hacer alguno de vuestros regalos, aprovecho estos últimos días del año para agradeceros vuestra confianza y el cariño que recibo cuando tenéis vuestras piezas con vosotros.
Mi homenaje al arte del bonsái ha sido uno de las joyitas que salieron del taller estos días, de nuevo en tamaño más pequeño, lo bueno del trabajo artesano es que cada pieza se puede ajustar a vuestro gusto personal.

My tribute to the art of bonsai has been one of the jewels that left the workshop these days, again in smaller size, the good thing about the artisan work is that each piece can be adjusted to your personal taste.

Llega el frío y con él una explosión de copos de nieve al taller. Los copos de nieve son mágicos para mí, por su suave y silenciosa forma de caer, sus preciosos brillos y geometrías perfectas... Y es que la magia está en todas partes, solo hace falta mirar con un poco de más de atención.

Esta pieza es de las más especiales que he realizado, no sólo por los materiales y el diseño, sino también, y especialmente, por la persona a la que iba destinada. Mi abuela. Un anillo fino y delicado realizado en oro con un zafiro y unos pequeños diamantes. Tengo que agradecer la ayuda y el regalo del zafiro a mi maestro, mentor y querido amigo Joaquín Alperi, gracias a él puedo realizar piezas como esta.
El oro, el material más bello y noble como es ella. La piedra central es un zafiro azul como sus preciosos ojos, la piedra de la sabiduría, porque no conozco a persona más sabia que ella tras todas las vivencias por las que ha pasado durante sus casi 97 años. Unos diamantes, uno de los materiales más duro que existe, simbolizando la fuerza de su espíritu, fuerza que la ha hecho ser la mejor hija, hermana, madre y abuela. En su interior luce un bonito grabado para que no olvide nunca nuestro amor hacia ella. Para ti Yaya, por ser la mujer más bonita del mundo ♥

A delicate ring made of gold with a sapphire and small diamonds. I have to thank the help and the gift of this sapphire to my teacher, mentor and dear friend Joaquin Alperi, thanks to him I can make pieces like this.
Gold, the most beautiful and noble material as she is. The central stone is a blue sapphire like her precious eyes, the gemstone of wisdom, because I do not know a wiser person than she after all the experiences she has gone through during her almost 97 years. A pair of diamonds, one of the hardest materials that exists, symbolizing the strength of her spirit, strength that has made her the best daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Inside, it shines a beautiful engraving so that she never forgets our love for her. For you 'Yaya', for being the most beautiful woman in the world ♥
  

Algunas de las cosas que más me gustan del taller es la granalla, cuando toca fundir el metal, se sacan los metales puros para hacer la mezcla perfecta del metal con el que se van a hacer las piezas.
En esta cajita tengo una muestra de ellos, de vez en cuando toca abrirla, a mí personalmente el color del oro puro me parece impresionante, me trae a la mente grandes tesoros de la antigüedad que aún me dejan sin habla cuando los veo.

Some of the things that I like the most about my workshop is the metal grain, when it's time to melt the metal, you take out the pure metals to make the perfect mixture for the final metal with wich the pieces will be made.
In this little box I have a sample of them, from time to time it's time to open it, to me, personally, the color of pure gold is so precious, it brings to my mind great treasures of ancient times that still leave me without words when I see them.


 

Los camafeos han existido desde épocas muy antiguas, tuvo especial auge en el Renacimiento con representaciones de mitología antigua, se tallaba en el metal inicialmente pero en seguida se comenzó a tallar en piedras, ágata, ónice, nácar... Sea cual sea el material trabajado, el motivo suele ser de gran belleza y habitualmente figuras femeninas. Siempre que veo alguno me lleva a épocas pasadas, llenas de sofisticación y delicadeza en los detalles. Este en concreto es una pieza especial a la que querían dar una nueva vida, lo acompañé de motivos florales para que preserven el espíritu romántico del camafeo.

Cameos have existed since ancient times, they had a special boom in the Renaissance with representations of ancient mythology, they were carved in the metal initially but immediately began to carve in stones, agate, onyx, mother-of-pearl ... Whatever it is the material worked, the motif is usually of great beauty and female figures in most of the times. Whenever I see one, it takes me back in time, periods full of sophistication and delicacy in the details. This in particular is a special piece to which they wanted to give a new life, accompanied by floral motifs to preserve the romantic spirit of the cameo.

La amatista es una piedra preciosa que contiene hierro en su estructura lo que le confiere el color púrpura. La amatista es protectora y poderosa, transmuta la energía en amor y protege a la persona que la usa de todo tipo de daños. Es una gran piedra para meditar, trabaja en los planos espiritual y físico para promover la calma y la paz. This is a precious stone that has iron and other trace minerals within its structure that gives it the purple colour. Amethyst is a protective and powerful gemstone, it transmutes the energy into love and protects the person who wears it from all types of harm. Its a great gemstone to meditate, it works in the spiritual and physical planes to promote calm and peace. Los orígenes del teckel se remontan hasta el siglo XVIII en los países germánicos, desciende de perros cazadores y rastreadores de tamaño pequeño y baja estatura. Parece ser su tarea principal era la caza bajo tierra, de ahí su particular morfología. Además de preciosos son perros de carácter cariñoso y juguetón.
Esta vez toda una familia de teckels han querido protagonizar estas piezas, anillo, colgante y pendientes. Estos últimos muy especiales, los pequeños teckels cuelgan del aro, según cómo los coloques puede verse con el acabado mate diamantado o acabado pulido brillante de la pieza, incluso se pueden llevar los aros sin el teckel, me encantan que las piezas den juego para poder llevarlas de manera diferente. The origins of the teckel go back to the eighteenth century in Germanic countries, they descended from hunting dogs and trackers of small size and short stature. It seems to be their main task was hunting underground, hence its particular morphology. In addition to be precious dogs they are  so affectionate and playful.
This time a whole family of teckels wanted to be star in these pieces, ring, pendant and earrings. These last ones are very special, the small teckels hang from the ring, depending on how the are placed, you can see them with a matte finish or polished bright finish, you can even wear the hoops without the teckel, I love the pieces that you are able to wear in different ways. Una chica muy muy especial decidió hacer un regalo a sus padres por darle la oprtunidad de volver a compartir su vida con un animal, pero no sólo por eso, por todo el cariño y apoyo que le dan cada día. Hoy era ese día especial en que llegaba su cachorrita y ella quiso entregarles estas piezas. A su madre un colgante de golondrina, y a su padre un llavero con la silueta de su perro, un maravilloso pastor alemám. Ambas piezas llevan un bonito grabado por detrás. Con estas piezas ella ha querido tener un detalle desde el corazón para las personas que más quiere en este mundo, y yo, por supuesto, soy muy feliz de que haya contado conmigo para una muestra de cariño tan grande.

A very special girl decided to give her parents a gift for giving her the opportunity to share her life with an animal again, but not only for that, for all the love and support they give her every day. Today was that special day when her puppy arrived and she wanted to give these pieces to them. For her mother a swallow pendant and for her father a key ring with the silhouette of his dog, a wonderful German shepherd. Bothe pieces are engraved with a lovely message at the back. With these pieces she has wanted to have a detail from the heart for the people she loves most in this world, and I, of course, am very happy that she has counted on me for such a great show of affection.

Las Jaras son bonitas plantas silvestres de zonas mediterráneas, sus delicados pétalos les dan un aspecto precioso y aunque parezcan frágiles, tienen gran fortaleza, se benefician de los incendios siendo de las más resistentes a ellos, incluso se favorecen de ellos para crecer. Esta Jara está acompañada por la luna, Lúa, la reina del cielo, para que ilumine con su bella luz a la encantadora personita que va a llevar este colgante.

The Jaras are beautiful wild plants of Mediterranean zones, their delicate petals give them a precious aspect and although they seem fragile, they have great strength, they benefit themselves from the fires being one of the most resistant to them, they even grow better with them. This Jara is accompanied by the moon, Lúa, the queen of the sky, it will illuminate with her light a charming little person who is going to wear this pendant.

Alguien con una sensibilidad especial, dejó en mis manos una lapislázuli preciosa, llena de brillos estrellados, gracias a los dorados de la pirita que tiene. Al ver todo el universo que albergaba la piedra, decidí hacer su logo de Aladas calado detrás de la plata, un precioso ángel que define mucho de lo que es su dueña.Ya sabéis que me encanta poner detalles que potencien la energía de las piedras, sobre todo en este caso ya que su propietaria es una de esas personas que brillan.

Someone with a special sensitivity, left in my hands a precious lapis lazuli, full of starry sparkles, thanks to the gold of the pyrite that it has. Seeing all the universe that housed the stone, I decided to make her Aladas logo pierced behind the silver, a precious angel that defines much of what is its owner. You know how much I love to put details that enhance the energy of the gemstones, especially in this case because its owner is one of those people who shine.







 

Como ya sabéis las huellas son especiales para mí por lo que representan, así que cada vez que me pedís alguna es toda una alegría, ya que muestra la cantidad de gente que siente el amor animal como lo hago yo. Algunos previsores están encargando las suyas para las navidades.

El rayo siempre me lleva al gran David Bowie recordándonos que podemos ser héroes, me gusta pensar que estos rayos representan la fuerza que tenemos en nuestro interior y que nos hace brillar, espero que estos pendientes hagan brillar como nadie a su futura dueña.

El ave fénix es un símbolo de transformación, cuando parece que no nos quedan fuerzas nos sorprendemos resurgiendo con aún más fuerza, eso es lo que hace este ser mitológico, tras morir consumiéndose en sus propias cenizas, vuelve a elevarse sobre ellas como un ser aún más luminoso.
