Bonsái, significa árbol en una bandeja, es un arte nacido en China, se intentaba representar los árboles que nacían en las altas montañas, estos tenían formas especiales ya que se moldeaban según las inclemencias climáticas. Más tarde este arte llegó a Japón donde se ha ido perfeccionando con la influencia del budismo zen.

Como sabéis me encantan las plantas, he tenido varios bonsais, mi preferido fue un manzano precioso. He realizado varias piezas representando flores y hojas que me gustan, ahora vuelvo a hacerlo con una figura de un bonsái. Cada bonsái tiene el toque de su dueño, es el que se encarga de guiarlo y cuidar el diseño que pide cada árbol. Eso mismo he hecho, improvisar la forma de mi bonsái, el resultado ha sido este precioso bonsái de estilo vertical informal, estilo mogoyi. Este colgante representa la puesta de sol del bonsái.

Bonsai means 'tree in a dish or thin bowl', this art comes from ancient Chinese horticultural practice, where they tried to represent the trees of the high mountains that had special shapes due to the severe weather. This art arrived to Japan, were it was redeveloped under the influence of Japanese Zen Buddhism.

I'm sure you have noticed how much I love my plants and flowers, I had a couple of bonsai, I remember how much I loved my apple tree. I have represented some pieces with flowers and leaves I love, now it's time for one bonsai pendant. Every bonsai tree has his owner's touch, he is the one who guides its branches and takes care of the tree and the design it claims. This is what I did with my bonsai, I have improvise its shape, and the result was a beautiful informal upright bonsai, mogoyi style. This pendant represents the bonsai sunset.
